Christian Martin | Founder
Christian Martin brings a lifetime of high-performance sports experience to M18. A former professional hockey defender, he spent 20 years competing across Bavaria, in cities such as Amberg, Weiden, and Regensburg, among others. Wearing jersey number ’18’ throughout his career—a number that now inspires the M18 name—Christian built a reputation for discipline, teamwork, and strategic play.
After retiring from hockey, Christian transitioned naturally into golf operations, applying the same competitive spirit and leadership to course management. Today, he oversees operations for Jura Golf Park, home to two of Germany’s top private golf clubs —including Graham Marsh Design course Habsberg, and Hilzhofen, an idyllic 18-hole championship course —as well as a 9-hole Akademie public course.
Christian’s journey from the ice to the fairway reflects his commitment to excellence, continuous improvement, and creating exceptional experiences for every player.
Stacey Patrick | Co-Founder
Stacey Patrick is an Arizona native whose career has spanned more than 25 years in the travel, leisure, and hospitality industries. Born at Luke Air Force Base, she grew up with a global outlook and a deep appreciation for people, culture, and service. Over the course of her career, Stacey has served as a senior executive, trusted leadership advisor, and head of program management and operations for international organizations.
A year and a half ago, she relocated to Amberg, Germany, embracing a new chapter shaped by love, a community-driven lifestyle, and a commitment to a better work-life balance. Her move reflects the same values she brings to M18: intentional living, meaningful experiences, and a belief that great hospitality starts with genuine connection.
At M18, Stacey blends her strategic leadership background with her passion for creating memorable, people centered experiences—helping shape a company rooted in real relationships, local connection, and hands on dedication.
